the Influence of USA
election to Kenyans
The past always has a way
of creeping back when you least expect it. I can’t wait for the second
presidential debate (US Election). Kenyan leaders have a lot to learn from US election
proceedings. Two powerful candidates fighting for the same sit, interesting
isn’t it? No wrong can take place since the leader we will elect will be an
open book. Our leaders both dirty and clean linen will be aired out for
everyone to see and smell.
We won’t have to operate under tribal or corruptive grounds. We will choose a leader depending on how qualified he or she proves to be. Words have power it’s even written in the Bible, even in the dating game both parties use words to lure each other in there trap loosely translated to ‘kuingia box’. I feel ‘word’ is a factor of developing great leadership; it initiates new ideas and equally motivates people’s action. Words are used to change people’s mind set and that is why we select our leaders depending on the words they use to decoy us to voting for them but the bad thing is that it’s becoming less relevant than it should be in our world today. The words people choose to use tell others more about themselves “Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.”
